Meta is doubling down on improving lead quality for advertisers—and the latest updates to Instant Forms show it.
Here’s what’s new:
1. Autofill control now in your hands
You can now choose whether or not Meta pre-fills form fields using info from a user’s Facebook Page activity or past forms.
This setting is available directly inside your Instant Form settings.
✅ Want to use autofill to make it faster for users? You can keep it on.
❌ Prefer a clean slate to collect fresh responses? Just turn it off—Meta will remove all pre-filled content and reset the form.
This gives advertisers more flexibility depending on their goals.
2. Verified mobile numbers for higher-quality leads
When setting up a new Instant Form, you may now see a new ‘Verified mobile number’ option under Form type.
What this does:
Adds a phone verification step before submission
Helps confirm that the phone number is real
Potentially filters out fake or low-intent leads
This feature is designed to improve lead quality—something advertisers have been asking for.
