New Meta Ads Feature: Labeling Leads for Better Audience Insights

Meta Ads just introduced an update for lead generation—you can now label your leads when uploading a new customer list! This feature could help you fine-tune your ad targeting and boost your campaign effectiveness.

What’s new?

When you upload a customer list to Meta Ads, you’ll now have the option to assign labels to your leads. The available labels include:

  • Qualified leads: Leads that meet your qualification criteria.
  • Disqualified leads: Leads that don’t meet your criteria.
  • Customers: Leads that have converted into paying customers.

According to Meta, these labels help the platform understand the quality of your audience, enabling it to refine ad delivery. In other words, you’re giving Meta critical data about your leads, which it can use to target your ads more effectively.
