Meta is rolling out a new feature in their Ads Manager, offering advertisers more flexibility in daily budgets. This update allows Meta to spend up to 75% more than your set daily budget on days with better ad opportunities, balancing it by spending less on other days. However, your weekly expenditure won’t exceed seven times your daily budget.
For campaigns shorter than a week, the total cost won’t surpass the daily budget times the number of days in your campaign. This change aims to optimize ad spending based on available opportunities.

What does that mean?
Previously, with a daily budget of $1,000, for example, Meta could spend up to $1,250 daily, capped at $7,000 weekly. The latest change increases this flexibility, allowing Meta to spend up to 75% of your daily budget. However, the total weekly spend won’t surpass seven times your daily budget, ensuring a balanced expenditure over the week.
