Merchant Center’s Latest Scorecard: Benchmark Your Shopping Experience Against Rivals

The Merchant Center’s Shopping Experience Scorecard just got an exciting update. Now, you can easily see how your store compares to others, with a simple score from 0 to 10. 

PPC expert Thomas Eccel shared this insight on his LinkedIn profile, highlighting the significance of this update for retailers. According to Eccel, the advanced Google Ads business scorecard compares 4 experiences: 

  1. Shipping experience: Delivery cost and Delivery time in the last 30 days.
  2. Return experience: Return cost and Return window in the last 30 days. 
  3. Purchase experience: Promotion disapproval rates and eWallets
  4. New and in Beta 🚀 “Browsing Experience”: High resolution > 1048px and images per offer. 

 

“This data is so precious that its worth looking at it once it gets released to more countries,” says Eccel.

This update is currently available for markets in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States.
