Let’s dive right in and explore the top three must-read articles of the week.

1. How a Few Small Tweaks Can Instantly Make Your Copy 10X More Persuasive

Hey guys, Holly here!

I’ve worked as the lead copywriter for Inceptly for many years, and when putting together this article, I kept coming back to these simple tips that have helped me (and countless clients) the most. They’re quick and easy to implement, don’t cost a penny, and I promise they’ll improve your writing immediately:

1. Always read your copy out loud

When you actually speak your words, you’ll instantly catch phrases that sound unnatural or robotic. If you stumble while reading, your readers will stumble while reading. The natural conversation has a rhythm—when something breaks that rhythm, that’s your signal to rewrite.

2. The intention check

For every line you write, ask yourself: “Is this adding to my core message, or is it just taking up space?”

  • ✅ If it strengthens your message: Keep it

  • ❌ If it’s neutral or distracting: Cut it

  • 🚫 If it weakens your point: Remove it immediately

2. Streamline Your Campaign Tracking: Google Ads Tagging Appointment

Google Ads has introduced a new feature that allows advertisers to book a tagging appointment directly through the Google Ads console. This initiative aims to simplify the process of setting up accurate tracking for your campaigns, ensuring optimal performance and ROI insights.

With this feature, you can connect with a Google Technical Support team member who will guide you and your developer through the implementation of Google tags. The session typically lasts between 30 to 60 minutes and helps establish a solid measurement foundation for your ads.

3. Google’s Ad Feature That Can Rescue Sales You Thought Were Gone

Google Ads remarketing allows you to show tailored ads to people who have already visited your website retargeting them as they browse other sites or search on Google. When users leave your site without making a purchase, remarketing helps you reconnect with them by displaying relevant ads across the web. These ads can show up on other websites, mobile apps, and even on searches they perform later.

Remarketing helps keep your brand top-of-mind, increasing the likelihood that these users will return to your site and complete a purchase. This strategy targets people who have already expressed interest, making your advertising efforts more efficient and effective.

You can configure Google Ads to track user behavior on your website. When someone visits your site, their cookie ID is added to a remarketing list. Then, you can create custom ads to display on this list, encouraging users to come back and convert.
