Google has introduced a new feature to help merchants maximize their online sales potential by addressing product disapprovals in Google Merchant Center.
You can now identify and resolve product disapprovals directly through Google Analytics. These recommendations are easy to find on the Home page, Insights hub, Reports snapshot, and the Acquisition overview report in your Analytics account.
Disapproved products can’t appear in Google Shopping results or Shopping ads, which means you could miss out on valuable traffic and sales. The new feature alerts you to these issues and provides a direct link to the affected products in your Merchant Center account.
Fixing these disapprovals has two key benefits:
- Boost organic traffic: Approved products can appear in Google Shopping, increasing your visibility.
- Improve shopping ad performance: More approved products mean better ad reach and effectiveness.
Here’s how to take action:
- Log in to Google Analytics and navigate to the Home page, Insights hub, Reports snapshot, or Acquisition overview report.
- Look for the new Merchant Center recommendations section.
- Click the direct link to your Merchant Center account to view and address disapproved products.
- Follow Google’s instructions to resolve issues and get your products approved.
By resolving these disapprovals, you can unlock new opportunities for growth and make the most of your Google Shopping campaigns.
