Google is stepping up its game in advertiser support by testing a new “Chat” button in the top navigation of the Google Ads console. This feature, currently labeled as beta, aims to provide advertisers with an AI-driven tool to answer their questions and resolve issues directly within the platform.
The test began last week, with Arpan Banerjee being among the first to spot it. Sharing the news on X (formerly Twitter), Banerjee noted, “Google Ads added a dedicated chat button (beta) at the top right corner of the dashboard.”
This strategic move highlights Google’s commitment to making its platform more user-friendly and efficient. By integrating chat functionality powered by AI, advertisers could benefit from faster support, real-time troubleshooting, and potentially enhanced insights without needing to leave the console.
As of now, it’s unclear how widely this feature is being tested or when it will roll out to all users. For advertisers eager to streamline their workflow, this feature could be a game-changer.
Keep an eye on your dashboard to see if the chat button makes an appearance—and stay tuned for updates as Google fine-tunes this new tool!
