Google Ads now offering AI-generated summaries of ad performance within the advertiser console. These summaries provide an overview of campaign performance over specified periods, making it easier for advertisers to understand their metrics at a glance.
Anthony Higman shared a video on X, showcasing an AI summary from one of his ad accounts. The summary compared the performance from May 9 to May 15 with the previous week, May 2 to May 8. It highlighted a decrease of 25 clicks across 46 campaigns. Specifically, it noted that 6 campaigns saw a decrease in clicks, 4 campaigns saw an increase, and 36 campaigns remained unchanged. Additionally, the summary pinpointed that three top-contributing campaigns were responsible for the majority of the decrease, attributing it to changes in bids and keyword targeting.
Google Ads includes a disclaimer with these AI summaries, advising users that the information provided may sometimes be inaccurate or offensive and does not represent Google’s views. Users are encouraged to use discretion before relying on, publishing, or using this content. Furthermore, the disclaimer emphasizes that the AI summaries should not be used for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
