Google Ads Rolls Out ACA Update: Turn Off AI-Generated Content to Avoid Issues

Google Ads is making a significant update to its Automatically Created Assets (ACA) feature. According to reports, this feature will soon be available at the ad level.

Anthony Higman recently shared on X, “They are now adding them in at the ad level, to ‘fill the gaps in RSA’s’ and they will be using generative AI to do it.”

Higman also warned advertisers, “Unless you want your ads telling people to eat rocks, turn these off!” He pointed out that the help documentation for this update is not yet complete, as some links are currently non-functional. Higman advised advertisers to stay vigilant as this rollout progresses.

He also shared a screenshot of the new setting in Google Ads, highlighting the importance of being prepared for these changes.
