Google Ads has introduced a powerful new feature that integrates image assets directly from Google Merchant Center, streamlining the process for advertisers to enhance and utilize product images in their campaigns.
Integration and Features
- Google Merchant Center Feed: Advertisers can now import product images from their Merchant Center feeds directly into Google Ads, storing them in the Asset Library.
- AI Image Editor: With this tool, advertisers can enhance and generate new campaign images from existing product images using AI technology.
- Performance Max Campaigns: By linking Merchant Center feeds with Performance Max campaigns, businesses can efficiently achieve their goals and create high-quality image assets.
Benefits
- Enhanced Images: Automatically enhance product images for Performance Max campaigns with AI-generated improvements.
- High-Quality Assets: Quickly and efficiently create high-quality image assets from Merchant Center feeds.
- Easy Access and Import: Access and import images from your product feed, including those created using Google Product Studio, via the media picker in the AI image editor.
How It Works
- Link Accounts: Connect your Google Ads account with your Merchant Center.
- Import Images: Import images from the Merchant Center into the Asset Library. Edited images are stored only in the Asset Library, not in the product feed.
- Performance Max Campaigns: You can include up to 20 images per campaign. For larger inventories, use search and filter options based on variables like Merchant ID and Item ID.
This new feature simplifies the process of enhancing and utilizing product images, making it easier for businesses to create effective ad campaigns. For more details, visit Google’s Help Center.
