Meta has rolled out some impressive updates and features to improve ad performance, simplify management, and provide more control for advertisers and users. Here’s a quick breakdown of the latest updates:
1. Automatic product updates 🛍️
Meta can now automatically update your product catalog based on data from your website. If there’s a mismatch, Meta can update product descriptions or add more images to align with your site.
How to enable this feature:
- Open Commerce Manager and select your catalog.
- Go to Settings > Catalog > Automatic updates to your shop.
- Click Edit to adjust the settings.
2. Maximize value of conversions for app ads đź’¸
App advertisers, rejoice! Meta now lets you optimize app ads for ‘Maximize value of conversions.’ This new goal helps show your ads to users most likely to install your app and take valuable in-app actions, such as making purchases.
3. Target frequency for engagement 🎯
The ‘Target Frequency’ feature is now available for Engagement campaigns. When optimizing for ‘Maximize ThruPlay views’ at the ad set level, you can control how often your audience sees your ad, ensuring greater reach and impact.
4. Less personalized ads for EU users đź‘€
Meta now offers EU users the choice to see less personalized ads while using its services for free. These ads rely on limited data, offering more privacy-conscious options.
5. AI-generated summaries 🤖
Meta Business Help Center articles now feature summaries created by the Meta AI Business Assistant. These quick overviews appear at the top of articles and can be collapsed.
